Introduction:

The offshore oil and gas industry presents unique challenges in materials selection, welding, and corrosion. This comprehensive 5-day course explores welding, metallurgy, and corrosion issues related to materials used in offshore installations.

 

Objectives:

  • Identify corrosion issues and life cycle engineering aspects in offshore oil and gas operations.

  • Materials used in the petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas industries, including environments containing H2S.
  • NACE MR 0175-ISO 15156, 2015.
  • Norsok M001.
