Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) Management Course

Introduction:

Who wouldn't want to be part of a winning team? While people generally prefer to be associated with a high-performing team, the emphasis is on the collective team aspect. For any investment or endeavor to yield returns, every member must be a dedicated team player. The HSS (Health, Safety, and Security) course emphasizes the need for contributions from theorists, practitioners, and implementers alike.

In light of recent catastrophes, there has been growing attention on safety management. Often, Safety Management Systems are viewed and confined to a systematic approach, rather than a systemic one that encompasses all aspects of safety management. A balance between the technical aspects and human factors in safety management is crucial to achieving desired outcomes.

Given the high costs associated with failures, many organizations have come to recognize that health and safety should be managed with the same level of professionalism as other business units. Employers are obligated to take necessary steps to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards. Unfortunately, some employers protect risky activities due to liability influences and regulatory constraints.

The Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) Management Course, while drawing from the HSE UK principles of health and safety management, aims to be more practical and ambitious, particularly for high hazard plants.
