Developing Personal Leadership Skills: Strengthening Organizational Relationships Course

Introduction:

  • Identify barriers managers face during performance appraisals.
  • Describe how an employee’s performance can be fairly assessed without bias or subjectivity.
  • Recognize the ongoing benefits of performance management.
  • Assess Leadership/Coaching Behavior.
  • Identify Leadership/Coaching Style Strengths & Gaps.
  • Utilize performance management as a leadership strategy.

 

Unit 4: How to Become an Environmental Change Agent

  • Define the learning environment and its advantages.
  • Explore Senge’s five learning disciplines:
    • Personal Mastery: Expanding our capacity to create desired results.
    • Mental Models: Seeing that our internal pictures of the world shape actions.
    • Shared Vision: Fostering a sense of commitment among members.
