This course presents the relevant concepts and practical applications, which are needed for creation and design of reinforced concrete structures, Including, but not limited to, the main concepts of load, materials specification and analysis of the built structure. Introduction:

Industrial construction, particularly in the oil and gas industry for land-based applications, relies extensively on reinforced concrete structures.   • Loading of horizontal vessels (separators)
  • Effect of thermal loads on heaters
  • Design of heater foundations

Unit 3: Geotechnical Problems and Design of Foundations

  • Design principles of shallow and pile foundations
  • Design principles of anchor bolts
